Welcome to Rugwoods. This website and online store are operated by Rug Woods LLP, 3302/F, Indiranagar, HAL 2nd Stage, Bangalore 560008, Karnataka, India ("Rugwoods", "we", "us"). These Terms and Conditions govern your use of the website and any purchase you make on it. By browsing the website or placing an order, you agree to these terms, our Privacy Policy, Shipping Policy and Return and Exchange Policy.

1. Eligibility and your account
You must be 18 or older, or be using the website under the supervision of a parent or guardian.
When you create an account, you agree to give accurate details and keep them up to date.
You are responsible for keeping your login details private and for all activity on your account.
2. Products and descriptions

We try to describe and photograph every product accurately. Colours may look slightly different depending on your screen, and fabric finishes such as washes, fades and whiskering can vary a little from piece to piece. Please check the size guide before ordering. All products are subject to availability.

3. Prices
All prices are in Indian Rupees (₹) and include applicable taxes (GST) unless stated otherwise.
Shipping and any COD fee are shown separately at checkout.
We may change prices, offers and products at any time without notice. The price that applies is the one shown when you place your order.
If a product is listed at an obviously incorrect price because of a technical or typing error, we may cancel the order and refund any amount paid in full.
4. Orders
Your order is an offer to buy. A contract is formed only when we dispatch the order and send you a shipping confirmation.
We may refuse or cancel any order, for example if a product is out of stock, if there is a pricing or description error, if we suspect fraud, or if a delivery address is not serviceable. If we cancel a prepaid order, we will refund you in full.
We may limit the quantities that one customer, household or account can buy.
You can cancel an order free of charge before it is dispatched. See our Return and Exchange Policy for details.
5. Payment

We accept UPI, debit and credit cards (Visa, Mastercard, RuPay), net banking and wallets through our secure payment partners, and Cash on Delivery on eligible orders. We do not store your card details. We may verify COD orders before dispatch and may withdraw COD for any account or address.

6. Shipping, exchanges and returns

Delivery is covered by our Shipping Policy. Exchanges, returns and refunds are covered by our Return and Exchange Policy. Both form part of these terms.

7. Offers, discount codes and gift cards

Offers and discount codes are valid for a limited period, can't be exchanged for cash, and usually can't be combined unless stated. We may withdraw or change any offer, and cancel orders that misuse offers. Gift cards are non-refundable and can't be redeemed for cash.

8. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

use the website for any unlawful or fraudulent purpose;
try to hack, disrupt, overload or gain unauthorised access to the website;
scrape, copy or resell our content or products for commercial purposes without written permission;
post reviews or comments that are false, abusive, defamatory, obscene or that infringe anyone's rights.

We may suspend or close accounts that break these rules.

9. Intellectual property

The Rugwoods name and logo, product designs, photographs, videos, text, graphics and website design belong to Rug Woods LLP or its licensors and are protected by law. You may not use, copy or reproduce them without our written permission. If you share content with us, for example tagging @rugwoods01, posting a review or sending photos, you allow us to use it to promote Rugwoods, with credit where reasonable.

10. Limitation of liability

We work to keep the website accurate, secure and available, but we can't guarantee it will always be error-free or uninterrupted. To the extent permitted by law, Rugwoods is not liable for indirect, incidental or consequential losses arising from your use of the website or products. Our total liability for any order is limited to the amount you paid for that order. Nothing in these terms limits your rights as a consumer under the Consumer Protection Act, 2019.

11. Indemnity

You agree to indemnify Rugwoods against claims, losses or costs arising from your breach of these terms or your misuse of the website.

12. Events beyond our control

We are not responsible for delays or failures caused by events outside our reasonable control. These include natural disasters, floods, pandemics, strikes, government action, courier or network outages.

13. Governing law and disputes

These terms are governed by the laws of India. Please contact us first so we can try to resolve any issue informally. If a dispute can't be resolved, it will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in Bengaluru, Karnataka. This does not affect your right to approach a consumer commission under the Consumer Protection Act, 2019.

14. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. The version posted on this page when you place your order applies to that order.

15. Grievance Officer and contact

As required by the Consumer Protection (E-Commerce) Rules, 2020, you can raise complaints with our Grievance Officer. We acknowledge complaints within 48 hours and aim to resolve them within one month.
